Unfortunately, no one came to church on Sunday. Its been pretty frustrating but I know that the Lord
will provide a way to help get them to church.
We did however, get our neighbor Heath to the Branch BBQ which he really enjoyed. I made
Grandma Ridge's cheesecake for it with an Oreo crust. The members loved it so much and were all
asking me to make it againš¤£. (Taylor says Australian Oreos aren't very good. The cookie isn't right.
But, he was excited to fine real American Oreos in a special section of the store).
Somehow transfers have come around yet again and Elder Cozzens was unfortunately transferred. He
and I were both looking forward to a second transfer together but it was not the Lord's will. My new
companion is Elder Kaufman. (From Texas and Logan,Utah) The crazy thing is that he was in my intake
(meaning they arrived in Australia together) but he visa waited so we have been out on the mission for
about the same time!! It is really nerve wracking because I feel like I just got out of training. But it's
super exciting and he is ready to work hard.
A video of an emu running down the road. (Hopefully it works this time)
Just in case you forget that Broken Hill is in the middle of nowhere! On the way to Adelaide for transfers.
Elder Cozzins and I went to Mundy Mundy (??) A big, wide open and flat
desert. They say you can see the curvature of the earth but you really can't.
